Slobodan Jovanović's exibition in Raška

The Raška Center of Culture opened the exibition of the paintings of Slobodan Jovanović on June 17. These paintings were created during Slobodan's 11-month stay in the US on Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP).

The exibition was opened by Miroslav Todorović, the famous Serbian poet - the winner of this year's Milan Rakić prize, organized by the Association of Serbian Writers. Miroslav Todorović read several of his poems which were inspired by Slobodan Jovanović's paintings.

After the opening part, the audience was interested in hearing about Slobodan's work, his stay in the US, and his experiences while he was on JFDP.

The exhibition will most likely travel to several cities in Serbia.
