Congratulations! You have been selected as a finalist or alternate for the Serbia Youth Leadership Program (SYLP).

The first thing you need to do is decide whether you want to accept your status as a finalist or alternate. You must contact American Councils by Tuesday, February 2 to confirm your acceptance. Also, remember that you must check in with Slavisa every Wednesday to make sure that everything is in order and to let us know that you still want to participate. You will receive a notification packet at the Pre-departure Orientation (PDO) containing additional documents for you to fill out, or you can pick up your packet from our office at any time. You can also access documents and information on this webpage.

Before PDO, you need to fill out your visa documents and submit them to American Councils by February 15. Information about how to fill out the documents is below in the "Documents" section of this page. Please, download all the documents from "Documents" section. By February 15, you and your parents need to sign and submit the Terms and Conditions (available below). Please submit the document in English--the Serbian version is for your reference.

You will receive a document called a Health Addendum. Read it carefully, fill it out, and bring it with you to PDO.

Remember that alternates are responsible for submitting all documentation on time as well. You may become a finalist at any time if a finalist drops out, but only if your documents are in order. The last day an alternate can become a finalist is March 8.
